I had everything blocked I posted my problem and someone said it was a game update.......wow great I waited for nothing I guess I'm glad but really upset as I can't buy a new Wii u and this was a refurb from Nintendo do so no returns hahahah I literally won't sleep tonight

I think you can hold B to boot to vWii when powering on the WiiU, from there go to the WiiU menu. I heard the update nag gets bypassed this way. Block all the URL's in your router or DNS and delete the update with homebrew afterwards.

ZombiU UPDATE is 57MB in the install folder, and 27MB in the Data management after install.

if it's 5GB, you didn't download the update, but the FULL game.
please, read the instruction carefully on wupinstaller.com, you NEED to replace the TitleID from 0005000 to 000500E if you want the update !

so, the fullgame is probably v16, and the update is v32?
My update is v32 EUR.
be sure to REPLACE the 0 to E in nusgrabber.exe command line, or you'll download the wrong data.


if you try to install a 0005000 title, it freezes the console to prevent you installing ticket that require private signing.
I tried updating netflix, but it freezes too as it's not a free ticket, it's a free (as in 0$ price) title but not a free (as in freedom/public) title.
the guide mention that you can't install demos or free (as in 0$) games.

Okay, so I did this, and I've the update file, but everytime I try to use the wup file that @ws44j uploaded, it freezes after exiting to home same error the last five tries. I also noticed this.

Both EUR and JAP have v32 but only USA has v16. for EUR you have 2 seperate titiles. Which one did you install?
