@Radius4 Isn't possible to add Blargsnes GPU rendering to a custom CASTFC build to improve speed on O3DS?
Pretty sure CATSFC GPU is superior, audio's where it's at. For example, FF6 had glitches everywhere on blarg, here it works with barely any glitches if at all, and at full speed (most of the time).

it was hard enough to add blargg's apu code, which is from a later snes9x version, but at least the code was compatible since CATSFC itself is based on an older snes9x version.
blargSNES is a completely different codebase. possible? yes everything is possible, but it isn't worth the time investment at the moment.

Is it normal that most cores runs slowly on o3ds? I only tried cia builds for now.

Hmm, it seems Plus is a bit slower than regular though. I went into this area in Chrono Trigger which lowered FPS to ~34 on Plus, but in regular they just go down to 54.

Yes. If o3DS is all you have, RIP.

Oh no I double posted for the first time in almost 200 posts. Dammit.

I also have a n3ds hehe :)

No, Ganbatte isn't fullspeed on O3DS, i already tested it.

So there still isn't a SNES Retroarch core suitable for non N3DS, isn it?

Pretty satisfied with the QuickNES core, by the way.

Played my most played Game Boy game, Belmont's Revenge, until completion last saturday on Ganbatte. That DEFINETELY wasn't full speed, unless it improved on the last nightlies.

Can‘t seem to get any neogeo rom work. Error arised:[FBA] rom index X was not found
Is it related with BIOS? How to set it?

Place BIOS in Retroarch/Cores/System and also can place where your Roms are. Make sure is the latest BIOS and FBA Roms (0.2.97.28 CPS1 and2, and 0.2.97.30 for NeoGeo).

Oh so it was made with n3DS in mind? Is there a post that details the changes?

Nothing is made for n3DS specifically. These are ports to 3DS in general and it just appears the n3DS run them faster than o3DS.
It is also normal that increasing the accuraccy of sound emulation comes with a loss of emulation speed, you cannot have both sadly so it's all about compromises.

Looks like Radius4's pull request for core input remapping on the CPS2 core has been merged. Apparently, it also includes saving the games' battery settings, so DIP switch settings should remain constant in those cases. Any builds newer than three hours ago should have these fixes. Thanks, @Radius4.

Thank you for also retaining the original CATSF build with the original, faster sound core. :) Now people can choose.

Latest Build 2336Hrs CPS2 has Button Remapping :D . So yup, Button Layout, Free Play, Timer, and for some of the Games, Game Speed Change. Swear some of the Games were just a little fast. Just waiting for CPS1 and NeoGeo
AWESOME WORK!!!!!!!!!

Gave a go to Ganbatte from the last nightly, its speed has improved but it's not quite there yet. I still have to try it with a GBC exclusive though
