It should become permanent if you force the game to save, for example by completing a time trial race and saving your new record.
Coins have been found so focus on something else. Also I tried laps before but it didn't quite succeed.

It's actually the F6 codetype. Also there is progress
Why dude. Which problems are you having. It's easy to use :/
I already did that a while ago, lol so you can strike this on your releases list but the others look interesting![]()

DUDEE! Damn. Thank you so much dude! <3Well, you may want to get used to the taste of your words... You might eat your last message after you try this code I made using a pointer that I found using my own program that I just finished that streams the data fro the disk so that no more than 100MB RAM is allocated at a time!It's the same method Netflix uses. They'd have some pretty unhappy customers if people had to download a 10GB movie file before they could watch the movie.
Change current item: (MK8 v4.0)
[3FB3CD70] + 12C = 000000XX
[3FB3CD70] + 130 = 000000XX
[3FB3CD70] + 134 = 000000XX
Set XX to whatever item you want according to this chart: (I've found that Star works very well.)
note: Sometimes it doesn't work for certain items, and sometimes the character loses the ability to collect any more items for the race. This is after all my first code for MK8, so expect that my future codes will work a little better.Single Banana - 00000000
Single Green Shell - 00000001
Single Red Shell - 00000002
Single Mushroom - 00000003

I think I may have found the value that controls the ingame timer.@CosmoCortney I tested all your codes, and either my version of MK8 allocates things at different spots than yours, or all your codes need pointers to work.![]()

Like for time trials, that timer?I think I may have found the value that controls the ingame timer.

Yeah, but I can't exactly get the exact value. and I don't know for sure if it is the actual value or not.Like for time trials, that timer?

Maybe it's a floating point number. If you give me some of the values, I can tell you for sure whether it is.Yeah, but I can't exactly get the exact value. and I don't know for sure if it is the actual value or not.

kk.Maybe it's a floating point number. If you give me some of the values, I can tell you for sure whether it is.

Also I need some help with that item code, like I swear I'm doing it right, but it won't really do anything. And I am on 4.0. I am using the memory viewer, and I am using this tutorial for changing the values:Maybe it's a floating point number. If you give me some of the values, I can tell you for sure whether it is.

pls help

It doesn't crash at all, which is good, I guess. And I'll try that out, thanks!Let me guess, it crashes when you try to go to the pointer destination in the memory viewer. I don't know how BullyWiiPlaza got Gecko dotNET to let the memory viewer display upwards of 45000000 without crashing. Anyway, what I do is first go to the pointer's address in the memory viewer, then type the value at that address into a hex calculator, then add the offset. Then, I enter the new address into the poke box, and set the value there.
Hmm, maybe @CosmoCortney know what that number is, I'm out of ideas.

What value does the pointer value have in the memory viewer?It doesn't crash at all, which is good, I guess. And I'll try that out, thanks!

"47871334 00000000"What value does the pointer value have in the memory viewer?

kk. I will test them in Grand Prix. Maybe they will actually work better in Grand PrixWith that, the three values to change will be:
0x47871460 = 000000XX
0x47871464 = 000000XX
0x47871468 = 000000XX

Yes, it would, but changes are a bit smaller to find a working pointer code. For me, approx 80% of all pointer addresses are found in range 10000000 - 18000000. But there are always some in higher rangesI did my dumps from 10 to 26 (instead of full 10 to 45) to make a smaller dump. (350MB)
Would that work too ?
These codes seem to be region-depended. You could upload a RAM dump from range 10000000 - 48000000 and I could try porting itHas anyone tried those Pimin 3 Pal/Disk codes on a USA Digital copy? I have on mine and they do not seem to do anything I was curious if possibly I was doing it wrong,
Well, I have a PAL version.. Since you'Re from the USA I supposed you have the NTSC-U copy, don't you?@CosmoCortney I tested all your codes, and either my version of MK8 allocates things at different spots than yours, or all your codes need pointers to work.![]()
Timers can be present as floats and 32bit integers. Your addresses' values seem to be incremented each frame or something.kk.
I have no idea if this helps at all, but:
000008CD
00000DC5
00001144
it changes at the same speed as the time trial timer does, I hope that helps.
I have just found a speed code that works in Time Trails and GP. But I don't know if it's the same @Méga-Mew has made..
I'm also unsure about posting it due potential online cheating. But I really want to make speed codes for all opponents + p1 because this would be fun. What do you think?
EDIT: the code to speed up everyone is finished![]()
