Hello everyone,
I have been searching for this error but I haven't resolved it yet.
So, I'm couting on you guys.

I'm trying to install Homebrew on my Wii U (Europe, FW5.5.0) with Smash Stack, but always shows the same result:

Cleaning up environment... OK.
SD card detected
Opening boot.elf:
boot.elf not found (-1)
USBGecko not found
No code found to load, hanging.

I've tried to format my SD Card (it is not SDHC) to FAT and FAT32, downloaded several times the HackMii and Smash Stack and nothing...
Any sugestions?

Sorry, I needed to check. Far too many times people haven't understood what "root" meant, and time is wasted when the solution was right there.

I recommend looking for a Sandisk card.

Lol :P No problem.
I'll try to buy one. Thanks for help ;)

I've never gotten Smashstack to work for some reason. Bathaxx worked perfectly fine though. Probably just me.

Only things I can suggest that aren't mentioned here are to make sure the disk type is MBR. GPT doesn't work, or never has for me at any rate.

Incredibly shops don't sell SD cards of 2GB no more...
I'll ask for SD cards to my friends, or even buy an used card.

They're easy to find on sites like Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, or anything similar like Walmart.. But whether you want to pay the shipping or anything I dont know. Then again, I'm not sure of any of your local retailers either. Probably best to just see if a friend has one as you have said though since SDHC cards can be used after installing HBC.

Not at a decent price. The SD cards actually cost more than the big SDHC cards.

@OP Sorry, I'd sell you one cheap if you lived in the US, but shipping to Portugal is kind of expensive, lol.
