the buildbot server uses cache so maybe you are still getting an older file.
try again in a few minutes.

did you remove the older version before installing the new one ?

Yes, I got the updated files, and the cia of CatSFC is now fullspeed (n3ds obviously) B-) Am really happy, cia is so much more convenient - especially because sleep mode works, and return to home menu works.
Only teeny thing I noticed, when pressing home button to return to home menu, there's a looped buzzy sound until I close the app - guessing you need to look out for entering sleep mode, and stop the sound/emulation generally. It doesn't cause any problems tho, so no big deal.

For other coders, this seems to be the secret to getting the higher clockspeed on n3ds, just one line in the .rsf. Is that the only change that was needed?

So what happens when new builds come out?

Can you easily overwrite .cias with newer ones?

You can uninstall the old one & reinstall the new one, with devmenu or whatever, which is what I just did. Retroarch uses its own file structure on the sd card rather than the 3ds app's save data, so you won't lose anything. Or depending on your cia installer you might just be able to install the new one straight over the top.

Ok one other thing I've noticed, when I come out of sleep mode, there's some sound distortion in catsfc. I noticed the same distortion before in the 3dsx when I'd been in & out of the retroarch menu.

But I am guessing, when Uninstalling a .cia, Uninstall, Exit the App, Shutdown, place MSDCard in PC, Delete any Config Files, place new .cia in MSDC, Return to N3DS, Install .cia and the Emu will be fresh Install with new Config

Cheat engine should work now.

Has anyone else gotten this to work? I grabbed some cheats from the libretro-database git repository and tried to load them up, but what I get is this:

If I turn any of the cheats on and Apply, the system hard-locks. n3DS, 9.9, IronHax.

So wait, just so I don't get confused by all the talk on the last pages, DynaRec still only works on <=9.2 right?

Not that I mind, Megaman Battle Network 1-3 run almost perfect, 4-6 have major slowdowns still but we're getting there :D

dynarec only works from ninjhax 1.0 or .cia, so sysnand must be <=9.2 to use those.
dynarec with the .cia does work on emunand >9.2.

I am having the same issue. I got the Cheats in the Cheats Folder but when I go to load the Cheat File for a certain Rom, I dont know where to go from there.

I don't think these cores support cheats, I think S9x does but I don't think any of the rest do

cheating rules and memory editing can unlock some crazy stuff

There's a fe7 code I did a playthrough with where the rng was set to maxed out no matter what

everything hit. everything crit. from me and the enemies

The N3DS is quickly becoming the best retro emulation device money can buy right now thanks to RetroArch... Sucks to be poor :P

Not even close! The Vita's got a ton of stuff and the porting of PSP stuff's going surprisingly quick. The difference is that the 3DS has actual games aside from emulation.
