Assuming that he monetized that particular video, let's say that it got to 1.5 million views. Obviously we can't know the exact numbers, but by my approximations that is ~$3,000 in gross income (so before the self employment tax of around 15%). That's assuming that he makes about $2 per 1000 views which is a reasonable guess due to the amount of people who use ad blockers.

For the record, that also means that YouTube earned 3,000 from that video since they keep half of the profit.

That is accurate ? $3,000 for 1.5 million views ?

how can YT prohibit me to access youtube or other account or to create new one with new data...???

<snip>

That's easy. IP addresses, cookies, undeletable evercookies, browser fingerprinting. So unless you set up and use a VM with it's own VPN connection just for youtube (and be sure WebRTC is disabled) yes, they can tell.

Am I right in saying that technically, Nintendo want to doesn't allow you to upload direct feed YouTube videos of 3DS games, unless you have a dev kit (for the official capture hardware)?

the disclaimer isn't going to do anything in any way, shape, or form

filing a dispute usually just makes the automatic copyright things withdraw complaints but I don't know if this is gonna be different? i'm pretty sure it is

Eh, Good thing i am not reliant on youtube, but claiming to piratate games because of youtube policies sounds rather silly, on par with taking videos down.

It is not really a youtube policy as much as a Nintendo policy.
I would read it more as "I like Nintendo and would really rather give them some money, or at least not straight up pirate, however if they are going to be cunts about it then I am not going to bother".

It's shit like this and the HORRIBLE long ass codes to share Mario Maker levels that remind me how behind the times Nintendo still is..

This makes me want to cancel my WiiU order (they finally got me)

In my experience, yes. Give or take a few hundred depending on non monetized views.
It's probably a lot less, there are taxes and then Youtube takes it's cut, and if you make anything Nintendo then
Nintendo takes a huge cut as well. It's BS
I said in the post that I was talking about gross income, before self employment tax which if I remember correctly is around 15%. However the 3000 is AFTER YouTube's cut. YouTube gets half, the creator gets half, so they both split 6000 to get 3000 each.

well wtf o-o why ...
Maybe for "iller rogram use" like TAS ? or something that would be an incentive for using ilegal stuff? :B
and about translation or old games hacks?

Undeletable cookies aren't a thing. Worst case scenario is using localStorage, which can be disabled and/or cleared. Websites absolutely *cannot* keep a piece of data on your computer that's undeletable.

I doubt they can get past a VPN, there's no way. So you should be fine, also everyone should have a VPN, they're really cheap
and there's a lot of people tracking you out there. Like even Windows has become a cesspool of Spyware.

Well, with the amount of access to your behavioral data and the amount of data mining that google does they probably can guess who you are after you use your google browser as normal for a couple of minutes.

They even take your fucking phone number when you create an account, Google may aswell send a big guy in a suit to watch me while I sleep while they're at it
