Or can someone say how someone with a homebrew capable Wii U would get the title key from a disc or eShop title?

You can get the Key your self, but first you need to dump the system partition of the game (disc only), and as of now this is worked on but not possible yet.
A scene release will be good too.
But why you need the title key if you already have the original game?

I need the JPN title key to decrypt the unreleased 'trial' version available on the download servers. There are no dumps of any JPN version, and I only own a EUR version.

I need the info on how to get the title key for someone who has a JPN version of the game + homebrew-capable Wii U.

You need a dump of jpn game disc, possible only with scene relases, but i don't think there is one.

Edit: anyway to get the title key if I remember right you just need the common key (avaiable on the net), the title ID and the title.tik (found on the system partition).

Isn't the system partition encryptes? Is that decryptable?
