Hacking WiiFlow 4 The Masterpiece Pack by Abz

WUPC for plugins has been requested many times before.
Thing is I don't have a WUPC to test and this makes me not in the mood of adding this feature.
It would be best to ask fix94 to add wupc support to official plugin sources on google code, maybe updating the sources for new plugins as well. If this is done the new plugins will automatically make it to my new pack.

Flash drives are quite unreliable, I believe that certain brands work better like scandisk. I believe there is a compatibility list somewhere?



If you are referring to "force Wii U widescreen" you should have checked options first, there is an option to disable it.

Now, on to my question for this thread;

ABZ, to be honest, I don't have time to sort through thousands of posts on dozens of threads,, so I just want to clarify, the only wiiflow plugin that supports WUPC is nintendont/devolution? The modded homebrew apps by fix94 have the support but cannot be used in wiiflow yet? I spent ages getting covers and making my coverflow amazing, but to play with my best controllers, I have to launch them from homebrew channel. (Its kinda awkward as well since I have my wii booting straight to wiiflow), and to play a game with WUPC I need to go from Wiiflow to HBC to snes9x/vbagx/etc and then when I exit any of them, it goes back to wiiflow. It would seem like I should've just kept Wii menu as first boot and installed forwarder channels....

thats not what i was looking for. my question has nothing to do with widescreen hack! wiiflow 4.2.3 forces all gamecube games to ntfs regardless of what you change in the wiiflow.ini which i dont understand why this option is forced now!!!! and also you need 4.2.3 for the WUPC to work inside wiiflow and will work when booting nintendont but you may get some minor issue's the same as me when using 4.2.3!!!!

thats understandable i wouldnt expect you too have it all working but thought it maybe something you would be interested in checking out if you had a WUPC? i wouldnt send you one and expect anything. tbh i was going to donate a small amount to you at some point anyway so its upto you abz?

In case you have issues autobooting nintendont 3.370+ using 1054 mastermod
you can update manually using the links in my sig or using the internal wiiflow updater to get 1054mmod with nintendont autoboot fixed

Just installed Postloader using the "Masterpiece" by Abz and Wii games don't appear...they work in Wiiflow though.
In Postloader it keeps saying "No games found". I rebuilt the cache and restarted.

check your folder name..
should be "wbfs" not "Wbfs" or WBFS"

It is, just as it comes with the pack...I am using SD, not USB btw, I changed the settings for the plugins.

Do I need anything else? I see something about needbooter and usbloader in the changelog but I guess the postloader pack should come already configured.

press home to reach settings then select manage covers (this can be selected from game settings) and download missing covers
this should work for Wii Wiiware and Gamecube modes
For the plugins you have to consult mastershoes' thread (it's a stickie in the Emulation and Homebrew sub section"

the issue is related to the memory manager in rev1076 you can try to fix this by forcing cIOS on in startup setting, that was the main reason I went all the way back to rev1056 to fix this memory bug
as for cheats and Progressive I'm sorry I can't help since I never used cheats and never had issues with tv signal,
you can ask in main wiiflow thread instead, I'm sure many users will give helpful info

Forcing that cios in startup was the only thing that made Nintendont autoboot. Thank you.

Edit2: Scratch that! I had priiloader installed the wrong version of wiiflow but replacing it with your version completely fixed Nintendont.

Found out why postloader can't find the wii games...it only looks in the usb, not sd.
Everything else works from SD (gamecube, emulators etc), and I can't find any configuration file to change.

you mean the clouds forwarder launched wiiflow fine but you got the crash when you launched a wii game?

Yes. Forwarder it work. But game no working. Crashes in system menu. But on original WiiFlow 4.2.1 is work perfectly.

nothing has changed.
