I'm having this problem today, is anyone else? My 3DS is 9.x.22U, and I'm not sure what my browser is running on. How do I check what firmware my browser has? It seems only the dukesrg etc codes aren't working for me. LeafTools codes are working.

I'm assuming it's not working for everyone else, and not just you and I. It worked fine last night for me.
 
Since I've been getting so many complaints about AC:NL hacking (that are not related to me, by the way) lately I've decided to host all executables on my server. Please read carefully the new instructions for RAM hacking.

It may seem harder to configure now, but it really isn't. Indeed, once you've get configured it will be easier and faster to dump and inject now (no QR codes nor extra files on SD involved anymore).

Hi, today I've tried this editor and all has worked fine, my village is now edited in the way I want. But there's only a small but big problem: I can see all my Best Friends in the list but I can't see them online and I can't chat! :( Is there a way to fix it? Thanks! (Note: i've injected the .bin file with another 3ds that haves an older firmware! Maybe the card has memorized the friend code of it? Sorry for my bad english...)

That may be the reason. Try to delete them in both consoles and re-add them.

Did you dump the RAM in another console or used a different console/version acnlram.bin?

I can't delete and then re-add best friends because in order to do this, I need to invite all my 32 bf to my village! xD

I have two consoles: the first one that I use to play with the last updated firmware; the another one has a broken screen but I haven't updated it yet and yes, I dump the ram with this one.

This only happens when you inject somebody elses ram as your own

They are online in the game (i can see my friends online in my 3DS Friend List that are playing ACNL) but not in my best friend list! That's a big pity because I want to show them my new town and can't invite no one without messaging...:mellow:

You still haven't answered. "I can't send messages" is too vague. What's stopping you from sending message, exactly?

Sorry for my misreading, my english isn't that good but I try to explain doing my best > <

I can't send messages because I don't see my best friends online in my best friend list (they are all without the red-coloured name to tap in order to chat) and vice versa they don't see me.

Also, I've met a friend in the island previously... In the bottom left corner, where I can see the island guests, my friend's heart is pink-filled (=added to my bf list), but in his case, my heart is empty (= not added), even if he has added me.
 
I followed the new directions on the site and added the links under my bookmarks. It worked fine this morning but now when I tried it worked and loaded, I edited the map and saved. When I tried to put the file onto the sd card to replace the old one it would not let me. It also wouldn't let me delete the ram file that was there. It said it was a read only item or something. Of course my cat chewed my charger cord for the computer and of course the battery is low so I can't mess with it anymore tonight. Any idea what I should try when the new charger arrives?

Flip the switch on your SD card, it is locked. Either that or it is write protected.
 
I have solved the best friend problem myself! :D I have just saved and injected data playing with another Player's save file (that is not the Mayor's one)! ;)

I've updated the map editor everyone, it now auto-generates borders (so no more hex-editing required), and now shows the way the water flows in rivers (and what side the waterfall is on, but hopefully that was easy to tell anyways). Report bugs to me

@froggestspirit , I must ask... there's some way to use your Acres Editor with dumped saves through the new Save Manager homebrew (used through IronTubeHax)?
When I open your program, it doesn't recognize any of the files at the save dump, although I can use the garden.dat file with the web ACNL editor.

Sorry for my bad English, and thanks in advance.

That program worked only for RAM dumps. It would need support for garden.dat.

You can truncate the header to turn it into a compatible file, then readd the header after editing though.
