Same here.. fukkin ryanrocks (or whatever the knobs name is, fucked it for everyone)
Yeah. It might be mandatory now to be on the latest firmwares now to keep hacking to a minimum. At this point, this is how it looks:I believe this too. Someone just had to go and screw with online play and ruin the fun for everyone..No doubt since it was popping up everywhere even on miiverse that nintendo spotted it.
I'm getting it too. I guess they bumped up the minimum FW requirement, just as I had predicted, probably because of the hacking of time trial times last night.

But there IS a cafiine tutorial already at gbatemp![]()
Yeah. It might be mandatory now to be on the latest firmwares now to keep hacking to a minimum. At this point, this is how it looks:
< 5.3.2: Exploitable (Released), no online play.
5.4.0: No public release of exploit (Not finished yet), no online play
5.5.0: Exploitable (No public release to prevent patching), online access.
At this point, anyone on 5.4.0 is really boned now.

Whether exploits are released or not is nothing new. The update requirement for playing online is, because some selfish asshole decided to ruin it for everybody.
https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAADVHkY151V7ANo, WHAT happened though, that triggered this? Because someone was cheating online? So that's it then, we're fucked?
It's because the userspace exploit for 5.4.0 hasn't been released. As @Marionumber1 said, it's not in a usable state yet. We have to wait until it's released - however long it takes.I don't want to read 100 pages of this topic so I want something clear.
I know everything 5.3.2 do, works on 5.4.0 .
But why?
It it cause we can access online with 5.4.0 so no MK8 Hackerz?
But can we do something on 5.4.0 that is released?
Thanks for answering.
No, WHAT happened though, that triggered this? Because someone was cheating online? So that's it then, we're fucked?
What a fucking joke.

It's most likely due to online cheaters. Unfortunate, though it was inevitable, and it was really a choice between that and holding off the kernel exploit.
what???Well that's fan-fucking-tastic, so now there'll never be a release. I give up, I'm done trying to have hope.

I never said anything about not releasing anything...and why do you keep editing your posts after making them?
What do you mean what? Do you expect me to be happy about this? Because of that numbnuts Ryanrocks, we now will never see an exploit. Am I wrong?
Does it matter? Do you expect us to be happy about this?
I think he was saying about having cheaters online or holding the exploit back until Nintendo did damage control. I think it'll still be released. What do you mean what? Do you expect me to be happy about this? Because of that numbnuts Ryanrocks, we now will never see an exploit. Am I wrong?

You will probably never see a release on a current firmware, and that's a good thing. Make your peace and decide what YOU want, online or homebrew...I'll take the homebrew. Of course, if the emuNAND comes along, it could be both. Either way, you should stop whining about it and just make learn to code yourself, than you could have it anyway you want.
