Why do idiots always have to cheat on online time trials? On MKWii people daily used "Finish right away" cheats to get a time in the milliseconds. Fucking DAILY and different miis! Some of them even pride themselves for being the "world record holder". How many losers exist, incredible. Just because you suck to get there legit and have to ruin the leaderboards to feel better about yourself. People spend endless hours in playing for getting a good time. Hopefully the leaderboards get sanitized like on MKWii or even prevented completely from hacked times in general. Unfortunately I believe it will be similar to MKWii or worse due to the fact that hacked time trials don't look "broken" on MK8.
Eh, managed to clear it up.

The thing is, with the power we have comes an immense amount of responsibility. We have the power to cheat online, however, we must choose to not do it as there can be a form of punishment that will affect everyone negatively.
 
New version of cafiine for fw 5.3.2, which allow dumping game files.

Basically, how to dump a file :
- create an empty file with the name of the file you want followed by "-request"
- ex: 00050000-1010ED00\vol\content\audio\stream\Title_WU.aa.32.dspadpcm.bfstm-request to dump the title song of MK8
- when the game open the requested file, the server creates a new file in the same folder with the filename followed by "-dump"
- ex : 00050000-1010ED00\vol\content\audio\stream\Title_WU.aa.32.dspadpcm.bfstm-dump

The archive contains :
- the source code
- the html file already compiled.
- the new cafiine server required to dump files

Cafiine now saves logs.

Anyone has a step by step guide on how to setup cafiine532? it must be baby steps since i never hosted anything in my life and i cant seem to find how to set that up.

thansk i finaly got it to test a nsmbu level xD also for anyone that has the mario+luigi new super mario bros u the game id(the pal one atleast) is 00050000-1014B800 and its not the same as the new super mario bros u standalone pal iso wish is 00050000-10101E00
 
anyone has a tutorial on how to dump game files? from setting up gecko to actualy dumping the files? i wanted to dump nsmbu levels and textures to use the editor.
