Ok Im gonna test it thanksYes, once. If you turn the url blocking off just to connect online and then back on it is safe.

Just to clear some things up:
1. the pyGecko.html is just a compiled version of the code handler
2. to run pyGecko just start a python shell and import all the libraries from tpcgeco.py,, from there you can start doing stuff. You don't have to actually run one of the scripts
EDIT: If you're still confused: I updated my thread
I read the IP address blocking guide and pretty sure you have to be on the latest firmware to play online.
Sorry man I meant that really, I was just being lazy@Reecey
Please say "Race Attack Error" in the future!
A "Race Attack" in itself is the kind of execution for this exploit.
There's no difference between using TCPGecko dotNet on 5.3.2 and 5.1.0!Too bad theirs no love for Wii U 5.1.0 owners. I would like to use TCPGecko to find some cheat codes. The OSDriver seems to load fine at this version, but then again since I am no expert, it may not be doing anything. I think I have had 75% to 80% success rate without crashing the Wii U.
thank...

not true, you have to update the game, and not the console.
Suggesting someone to disable the blacklist is not a good idea!I don't block updates either because if I do, it also blocks me from playing online (if someone has a solution for this, please let me know). I only set certain options in the Wii U settings so that it hopefully won't auto-update but 5.4.0 currently isn't an advantage anyway.
Nope, only the latest game update.I read the IP address blocking guide and pretty sure you have to be on the latest firmware to play online.
Oh wow I was told by...There's no difference between using TCPGecko dotNet on 5.3.2 and 5.1.0!
The exploit works for you, so: Yay!
You have have to search in some of the latest pages in this thread and you know what you have to do!
Perhaps because his was compiled for 5.3.2 owners? No, it doesn't work...
Yes but it will say error and if you restart the Wii U the entry is deleted. Also you can prevent the update from starting with certain Wii U settings. At least that works for me, I'm surprised it has been overlooked.I tested it but the system started to download the update is that normal?
yes this work i get an error code at the download but when i buy a new game i have to update the game right? How can i update the game without updating the fw?Yes but it will say error and if you restart the Wii U the entry is deleted. I don't know yet, you probably can't.yes this work i get an error code at the download but when i buy a new game i have to update the game right? How can i update the game without updating the fw?
I don't know yet, you probably can't.
@xNintendo I don't think you can use the e-shop without updating
Oh, um, try this. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0y2bjp0i56o7yr7/TCPGeckoClient.7z?dl=0I have noticed that I can't use the FSA tab of TCPGecko. It tells me the Wii U has the wrong FW to read the file system.
Will this feature come back working with 5.3.2?
You need a 5.0.0 installer. You should ask Marionumber1.Oh wow I was told by...
Perhaps because his was compiled for 5.3.2 owners?
So, do you have an idea where and how to modify the installer source for < 5.3.2 owners? Perhaps you can compile on and upload it here on this forum. Boy I sound like a noob LOL.
I was just going by what wj44 said.
