I can't get this to work no matter what i do. I've got matching info on both INI files, I get no DLL errors, I have vJoy 2.0.5 installed and the vJoyInterface.dll file from the latest library yet it still isn't working. Is there anything else I have to check?

No input on my 3DS reaches my laptop. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps and my laptop recognizes "vJoy Device" as a controller but nothing I do on my 3DS registers.

umm duno... are you sure you have both device in the same network?... don't know what can be the problem... sorry

Both devices are in the same network. Is it possible this doesn't work with Tubehax, since you have to have a certain DNS setting to get the exploit to work?

you are using tubehax? i think that's the problem, when you change the DNS you can't connect to the network (You can't use the eShop, per example) it's better if you use ironhax if is possible...

in google, search for the .dll if you have a 64bits system copy and paste the .dll in System32 and syswow64 (in Windows Folder)

in the 3DSController.ini file

Execute 3DSController.exe and look for the IP and Port, later in the 3DSController.ini change the IP and Port for the same you have in 3DSController.exe
When i start the programm, the port it's the same on the 3DSController.ini and when i start the .3dsx file, my computer not connect with my 3DS...

If you're using a direct IP, that won't matter. DNS servers just give you an IP address associated with an URL you enter. If you're directly inputting an IP, it bypasses the DNS all together.

well that's great but back to square 1 I guess. Windows 10 shouldn't be a factor in my problem at all right? I honestly have no idea what else the problem could be

Do you have the right IP set? Are there any firewalls you need to add an exception to? Is there any filtering (such as AP Isolation) set on the router(s)? It's more likely to be things like that. As for compatibility with Windows 10, I couldn't tell you.

like i said to everyone, check your both device are in the same network, execute the 3DScontroller.exe as admin or with Compatibility troubleshooter

W10 is not a problem if you are using vJoy 2.0.5 (i'm using W10 Pro and it work).

In Control Panel -> USB Playing Device configuration (really don't know the name of the option in english, i have W10 in spanish) -> Select vJoy and then Properties

Try some buttons, if nothing happen then go to configuration -> calibrate
maybe make it work...

if don't, i don't know what else do x'D

The right IP is set, I have an exception in my firewall but I've honestly just disabled it for the time being. My router is unfortunately super ancient and I don't think there's anything like that, but it has firewall settings like Virtual Servers and Client IP Filters that I've never touched and aren't enabled

No response when I tried going into properties. I tried configuring the vJoy Device with Project64 and everytime I tried to map a button it just automatically went to "Joy Up" for some reason

It sounds like it's connecting then. I don't have experience with the program itself, so I couldn't tell you the issue if it's connecting just fine.

unfortunately I'm at a total loss, then. unless turning my router into "strictly an access point" would help? either way thank you (and also Sr.G) for trying to help

Well, like I posted, it sounds like it's connecting, so it shouldn't be your network. It has to be something either on the PC or on your 3DS.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
