The kernel exploit that was released works on 5.4.0, there's just no public userspace exploit for it yet.

After launching the kernel exploit (built from the original source code) from the Wii U menu, I launched Bayonetta, opened the browser and run PyGecko, but I can't connect to tcpGecko dotNET...
I've tried both:

I know that it is not (currently) possible for a Wii U to download the latest game updates to use online features without the latest firmware, but here is an idea for a workaround:

Would it be possible with this kernel exploit to take a decrypted update from Uwizard and use Cafiine to manually apply the update files each time a game is launched?

Try to run the exploit using MrRean's files ( https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-run-the-kernel-exploit-on-your-wiiu-tips.395335/ ) then http://wj44.bplaced.net/py, it worked for me.

I have used to change the post box with phantom ganon but 5 sec later frezze the game

Same happens with the GameCube version except with dolphin emu. I don't really know why..

The best way would be to bypass/spoof the firmware update to allow games updates but i don't know how to do that.
