From reading his post, I don't think he actually made a theme package, I think he may have just loaded it with the extdata tool or Custom Home Menu Manager.
The theme doesn't need to be in a package to be loaded correctly, it just has to be the LZ_body.bin file and the bgm.bcstm file.
EDIT: I don't know for sure, now I'm getting confused lol
I think I already got the right answer :p

Only thing left to ask is how will I do it so that I can change to the custom themes with only a few clicks using the "Change Themes", in other words... do what Reisyukaku did: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-how-to-make-a-custom-3ds-theme.377533/#post-5242620

Or is there a thread how will I use the Custom Home Menu Manager?

Would someone just ask @Reisyukaku already, the chmm can only do one theme at a time and you have to load the app each time you want to change themes. Reisyukaku is set up so that you can just go the change theme menu without closing any games you are playing and, more importantly, lets you choose your top 10 themes to shuffle between automatically, like how on my xl it just shuffles between the plain colors and free themes each time I open the home menu.

I would've suggested that if I had actually realized that Princess Emily was talking about Reisyukaku instead of MK73DS, for some odd reason I didn't properly read her post and thought she was talking about the wrong user.

You can only do it if your 3DS's FW is 9.2 or below. It involves installing theme packs as CIA files.

I'm trying to make my own theme using YATA+ 1.3
Whenever I add in a background music, why is there always that stupid click sound at the start after I convert a .wav to .bcstm?
The original .wav doesn't have that "TOK" click sound at the start, but there'll be one after conversion to .bcstm... :/

Can you PM me the WAV you're trying to convert? I could try and convert it for you.

Is it true I can't use Mono files? I was trying to make a loop for a theme but before saving it, in order to make the file smaller, I made the Wave to be Mono. When converted to the 3DS format in YATA, the song becomes all distorted/crackled and unusable.

Sorry if the answer is extremely obvious, but could someone explain what the "big" and "little application icons" are?

There is a border that goes around application icons. It's the greenish border. It automatically gets rounded corners and the right is mirrored to the left.

Hi! Thanks for posting up this guide OP. YATA+ makes everything so much easier too.

I tried everything, but I don't know why this isn't working. I had my custom theme on a basic one, so my custom BGM would work, but every time I put my 3DS to sleep/shut it down, it goes back to the norm. When I installed my custom theme on a premium one though (Loz: Majora's Mask) it plays the BGM of the LoZ theme, but when I shut down/sleep the theme stays.
Is this normal, any way to fix? Thanks in advance!

You should use CHMM to change themes

Whenever I try to convert a WAV to a BCSTM it sticks me at only 13.48 seconds of the WAV in the editor inside YATA, regardless of how long the WAV was before importing.

This is AFTER I used FormatFactory to convert a WAV to a WAV, since the WAV I generated from Audacity would only show up as 11 samples (way less than a second of audio) whenever I imported it into YATA (every WAV I tried).

Is this some funky shit with FormatFactory? (Which is quite honestly a sketchy program)

Weird... can you send me the original WAV or MP3 file ? also, as i said before, if it's a videogame music you can find it arleady converted to bcstm on brawl custom music

When I try to insert a pic it appears this error message. How can I fix it?
