Because I region swap consoles and without some way to decrypt the nand I can't region change 8.1

Please please please let me know, I have a hard mod and several other tools

Ah this one. Looks like you have to insert the empty title.db and import.db to your 3DS. Check to here for more details.

Have you remembered to let FBI install it so NAND and not SD? Right after FBI loads, press L, then choose mset_eur.cia and install.

How come you don't get the overwrite prompt? Try installing FBI as a CIA file to sysNAND SD and run it from there.

Anyone having trouble loading up certain games with rei cfw? I get 3ds logo then black screen. I tried different versions but same outcome on 9.5 emu.

Edit: Managed to get it working via launching from FBI or Devmenu; so the CIA works. However problem persists when attempting to open from home menu. If anyone wants to test it try booting up Story of Seasons

When I try to follow your steps, I get an error saying "description invalid title version"? What am I doing wrong? I have FBI 1.4.6, the mset for eur from a GW release (btw am running on a 9.0.0-20E n3DS) and am trying the installation after booting Pasta.

Does someone know what I am doing wrong?

You have to erase the original one on the nand first (with FBI , title id 0004001000022000 , CTR-N-HASP), then you will be able to install the downgraded one , this worked for me . (before doing this on real nand , I first tested it on my emunand)

I don't have an FBI cia file at 1.4.6 though, this one is 1.3.8, hence the different error message. Looks similar anyhow.

that method worked for me when gateway didnt had support for 8.1
