Hi

I have a PSTV with 3.20 and a PS3. I've bought Patapon 2 off the store with my PS3 and am stuck trying to get it to the PSTV. I've signed into my PSN account on the PSTV without updating. When I start vita update blocker I get the following screen.

I have no idea what to do next and can't seem to find anything that can help. Any help getting eCFW on this would be awesome and really appreciated since the only reason I bought it was to play PSP games.

It's simple.

Simply add that to the LAN proxy settings and it'll allow you to use Content Manager on PC to permit from transferring files from the PSTV > PC or PC > PSTV.

PS1 games on PSTV are really easy too.

Thanks for the reply. I've put 192.168.0.172 in the PSTV's proxy address and 8080 in the port but when I go to transfer content with the PS3 or the PC it asks me to update. No idea what I'm doing wrong.

Did you type exactly the same login details as from your PS3? Remember it has to be from the same country you bought your PSTV or it will ask to update in order to use it (at least it was like this in my experience).

As for the PC Content Manager I use this one: http://cma.dl.playstation.net/cma/win/gb/index.html it works perfectly for me but others tend to go with QCMA.

Yeah both consoles are from the same country and I used the same PSN. I can link the PSTV with both the PS3 and QCMA but after that it keeps asking me to update.

Have I got the steps right?

1. Buy and download exploit game on PS3.
2. Set up the PSTV with your PSN.
3. Run vita update blocker.
4. Set the proxy address from update blocker on the PSTV
5. Go to content manager and try and transfer?

That's more or less it, although I think you're aware of the code to activate the PSTV to PS3 connection too (it appears automatically anyway) and same goes for the PC too.

Worth noting, did you follow this tutorial @ http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=40302

P.S.: For an exploitable PS1 game I'd highly recommend you Superbike 2 as the loading's way faster than via Tekken 2.

Yeah the activation code popped up for both the PS3 and the PC but after I sync them it asks me to update. That's the tutorial I was following but I just can't passed that step. Thanks for the advice, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I just kept trying and redoing the steps and now I'm in. No idea why it wasn't working earlier but I've copied over Patapon 2 now and both PS3 and PC transfers are working. Thanks for your help.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
