Hacking how to install cfw in 3ds

hi! i'm planning to install cfw to my 3ds
i'm noob so i don't know what to start
what do i need first? do i need to buy r4 to start?
i tried the method that don't need some flash card but it didn't work for me
it seems i need to try the other way
what is pasta cfw and rxtool? want to play majora's mask and some new games
what is the best cfw for 3ds?

please help guys!

then your best option for you is rxTools and luckily your on a good firmware and have the browser.
http://www.rxtools.net/ just follow the instructions in the how to section by entering 4.5 as your firmware the instructions are very straight foward thought the touhgh part might be finding slot0x25KeyX.bin

also before doing all this backup your sd card and run the gateway 3ds launcher by visiting go.gateway-3ds.com while you have the launcher.dat on your sd card then click format emunand

yeah put the 3.3 launcher.dat from the gateway rar and go to go.gateway-3ds.com then select format Emunand, from there follow the steps on rxtools.net

i followed the instructions in rxtool and downloaded the latest but can't find the cdn_firm.exe )=><

its actually cdn_firm.py which can be found in the tools folder you need to download and install python 2.7 to run it.

running it will download the firmware.bin but also dont forget you need to find slot0x25KeyX.bin somewhere online.

no just install python 2.7 to your pc and double click cdn_firm.py to download the firmware.bin (the old exe version was setting off peoples anti virus)

I would remove the video from your post slot0x25KeyX.bin is super illegal and can get GBATEMP taken down with a DMCA notice.
