Yeah like above, some older PS2 games were still released on CD instead of DVD. How do I burn them? Do I have convert their ISO into DVD file or I can burn them on CD and make them work somehow?

I dont take USB/harddrive as possible way out.

I know that with my modchipped PS2, I just burned it to the appropriate media with no problem, whether that was CD or DVD. Try burning it to a CD first. Just use CD-R, not RW's, since the weak laser in PlayStation systems usually has a hard enough time with burned media to begin with, and seems to really struggle with rewritable discs.

Well, I remember doing this a VERY LONG TIME AGO. My PS2 stopped reading CDs so I had to convert those CD games into DVD.

The problem here is that there are "CD checks" throughout the game, which you need to convert into "DVD checks". Without converting the checks, even if you burn it to a DVD, it wouldn't work.

Also, due to the "structure" of some of the CD games, it might just not be possible for all CD games to work even after you convert them and burn to DVD.

Here are some of the best tutorials that I could find...

Best of luck :)

Lol, I just figured....You know, the BEST WAY to play those CD games is to just convert them to ISO/.BIN and use a pen drive to boot those games. Absolutely NO NEED to go through the hectic process of converting them to DVD and HOPING TO GOD it would work.

Just find a tutorial to boot games off pen drive on a PS2. Simple as that ;)
