Be carefull with a 2DS you can't downgrade your mset to 4.X if I remember good ? Only 6.X mset.

When I got the msetdg and ran the rxtools option, it said the mset was downgraded. that it was "exploitable," when I tried installing it again.

Alright, since it's quite stable and there's a quite high demand, I think I could upload it as an Alpha (not Beta) release.
When a new Alpha (or Beta) is released and tested, I'll remove the older one.

If that's really the same as my build, it won't brick anything unless you mess up with advanced/untested options.
I tested it on my old 3DS (v4.5E) and it still works fine. Even SecureInfo_A injection works (tested on emuNAND).
There are some bugs (like this one) and many features are missing.

Simply put, if you aren't willing to take a risk, don't use alpha/beta software. Short of hardware failure, having a NAND backup though Gateway's launcher makes you invulnerable to permanent bricking. Either use the software, aware of the risks, and don't do stupid stuff with it, or only use official software through the manufacturer, in this case being Nintendo. Hacking always comes with risks, Gateway included. Hell, there were even legitimate bricks on non-modded consoles from random NAND corruption caused by official code defects. Life's a risk, take it or leave it man, lmao.

3.0b6 is yet to have any brick reports caused directly by it though, so up to you on how you want to use that information.

Download 0004003000009402.cia v4096 (USA only) with 3DNUS like that :

Then boot rx-mode in emunand , install & launch FBI-1.4.2, switch to "nand mode" and install your previously downloaded 0004003000009402.cia.

You have downgraded your browser.

- 0004003000009D02 v4096 for EUR
- 0004003000009402 v4096 for USA
- 0004003000008802 v4096 for JAP

I prefere 6.X because I have the option to backup/restore games saves in settings ^^ But it's nearly the same things. But for you it's usefull because you can't accidently brick your 2DS by formatting it.

What's the difference between 4.x and 6.x mset?

Different ROP chains, and 6.x MSET recognizes the case where there is no physical 3D slider, thus allowing the 2DS to complete initial setup after a system format. 4.x MSET, under the same conditions, asks for the 3D slider to be used, and thus results in a softbrick on the 2DS, as there is no physical 3D slider.

Note: This can still be repaired with the Safe-Mode Updater. It just means that the console will be unable to be used on the exploitable software revision it is currently running.
