hello, sorry if this is in the wrong section but i am wondering if this will work

long story sort i bought a n3ds xl for gateway uses, as there is no 9.8 emuannd support i cant system transfer from my old XL to my n3ds.

is there anyway i could get my NNID, Mii Plaza progress, and savedata from my 9.8 emunand to my n3ds.

Do you only have Gateway or also Cubic Ninja? Because to spoof your firmware for system transfer you'd need Cubic Ninja to install NTR/Pasta CFW on a n3DS atm to use the spoof trick.

Is your old 3ds using gateway / cfw or is it official 9.8?

The old 3ds is on 9.8 gateway emunand, and would I be able to use gatewaymode to install NTR or pasta?
I saw a guide it install with mset and I downgraded my mset on my n3ds ;0?

You need cubic ninja for the n3ds there's no way around that. The o3ds needs to be downgraded to 9.2 to be able to transfer

Yes same rule applies, just the downgrade has become a million times easier with sysupdater
