Which rxTools.dat? That code.bin should work with rxTools up to 2.6, so any version you've downloaded from here should be fine... anyway, try clearing cookies and history in your web browser and trying again with the code.bin part. Once you get it working, going to Nintendo DS Profile should boot it properly. Do you have firmware.bin and Slot0x25KeyX.bin?

I can't get anything to happen when I go into System Settings -> Other Settings -> Profile -> Nintendo DS Profile. I have downgraded the system settings app and I have installed the mset exploit.

mine was working fine before and suddenly that also happened to me, always getting "an error occurred...." after running rxtools.dat, except the 3ds didn't reboot itself
recopy the .dat and .bin files to SD card seems to solve the problem

Hi, i have a 3ds (succefully downgraded to FW4.5-08) EU.
and I like to install rxTool (or any recent sign.patched CFW+fbi injection). I try to follow your guide but I can't create an emunand. after I create that 2 file .db and the dbs folder, copy the lastest launcher.dat, and start browser.
when the url start loading, the browser close and an error popup appear "save your software data and restart console" or something like this...
So i can't start gateway UI to format emunand..
The strange thing is that with FW 9.2 the gataway start normally infact i downgrade.
what can I do to solve?

As I said I follow the tutorial and the browser exploit doesn't work...I do all the passage 3 times and I also try to start the GW_INSTALLER with a DS flashcard but it stucks on "programming"....
So on 4.5 I can't start Gateway anymore either with browser exploit either with DS Flashcard...and I can't understand why....

I did everything on the tutorial HERE.

But as soon i run the modified rxTools i receive an "Corrupted firmware file". I have the correct slot0 key, the firmware.bin i downloaded from the cdn_firm.py, with the original rxTools it works pretty well.

I have the 4.5 Sysnand 3ds, i made the emunand using the Launcher.dat (i don't own an Gateway).

What im doing wrong ? Thanks !

Same problem... also getting a "corrupted firmware file".. since after I switched out to this new "rxtools.dat" file.

I can load via the browser into the rxTools - Roxas75 [V2.4]. I get this "corrupted firmware file" error after i click on Launch rxMode.

I have 4.5-E10 console. And I do own a gateway.

I also made MSETS. I fully followed the tutorial above.

What can I do to fix this?

My goal is to just play GBA-games.
