Is it supposed to be RX-S? I was gonna update but isn't RX-S sysnand mode? Wouldn't that ruin everything?

Emunand is RX-E, make sure you have emunand on the SD you are using

So rxTools.

I have the options:

- Inject EmuNAND partitions.
- Inject NAND files.

I think it's the NAND files one?

So I pressed A, and then I see 2 optionsto select NAND.

emuNAND

I'm so scared so I didn't do anything yet, haven't found a tutorial, can you explain?

Don't inject anything, just create a new emunand from your current sysnand with the gateway launcher.dat . (don't forget to backup you sd card content)

How can I launch this with mset without any flashcart?

So if I am on 4.5 and only have Pasta CFW, do I just follow this guide but use your rxTools.dat instead?

Or would I have to update to 9.0, follow the guide and then do something else to make it up to 9.8.

RX-S is sysNAND. !!! NEVER UPDATE RX-S since that updates sysNAND, eShop will also update your sysNAND even when you're in emuNAND !!!

Create an emuNAND and make sure you're in RX-E. Update from system settings.

I was on palantine, you need to follow this tutorial which will install rxtools on a 2nd nand on the same SD, once you have rxtools installed and updated then replace the rxtools.dat with the one the OP uploaded.

1. Yes with pbt or palantine (only on 4.X tough)
2. - Extract your cfw rednand with this : https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-3ds-multi-emunand-creator.381603/
- Reinject it as an emunand
- Update the emunand with rxTools.
