actually I have an ezflahs 3in1 but I'm not using it much .. I would like to have one I could play on my actuall gba XD and I wanted do stuffs like the communication with gamecube .. I Know if you do it ingame (like sonic advance ) it would work, but if it need to load your save I'm not sure if will work :/ some gba games are jard and expensive to get, if this works would be great :B lol

And actually you can't do ez3in1 to original game, unless you use an code or something , I saw you need a modded DS rom to make it work :v

its the same deal with ez iv.. can do communication ingame.. (if the link works, and i am not sure about it)

you can use a 3 in 1 in a real gba if you get a GBA SHELL the only thing that prevents from working on the gba is the pastic part.... you can try to open a gba cart, and try to fit it inside...

probably because it was not propertly connected..

anywho, optionally i think you could get a action replay\gameshark\xploder or some kind of linker\connector that works as a bridge like this one:

Just to chime in here;
I purchased mine recently from Aliexpress since I'm from the Eastern end of the US, and, aside from taking four-ish days to process and ship the item (I sent the initial order request on a Friday), it's fairly quick for a third party and hoping to receive it next week. I'll be sure to give more feedback when I actually receive my EZ4.

Also, to the OP, GBA flashcarts really AREN'T expensive, usually at $35-$40 on the best deals. When compared to Ever drive carts at $100+ for even some of the lesser models, you have to realize that normally some of these won't be the price of a normal GBA game as you're essentially buying the potential for the entire GBA library. So, it only makes sense some of these devices are CRAZY expensive. I just ask you be glad that third parties that hold EZ Team products aren't charging more than they are, since direct from the manufacturer, they are around $70 I hear (Forgive me if I'm wrong).

Just wanna take the time to praise chollomedia! Picked mine up for like 23 GBP! Was one of the cheapest places and turned out to be reliable and have good customer service! Check it out :)

Glad to see my recommendation was worth to someone :grog:

...You (all) should be lucky to find sources who are selling the card....the availablilty is still/again difficult...and remember the times the ez-iv was not available for months...some guys have paid $100 to get one (2013/2014)....so you should don't ask where you can save ~5 Euro....or not....

There's nothing wrong with finding something for the cheapest you can. Everyone does that, regardless of how rare it is. That's what sites like Ebay are based around, buying something for what you'd want to pay for it.

The EZ-4 shortage was because of finding a new chip distributor I believe. They found a new one, so I don't think the shortage is bad.

It's good for people to keep buying the product, it'll show the company that people are still interested, and it'll keep them producing it as long as they have the ability to.

What a bunk law. That's like saying you can't own an mp3 player because people pirate mp3s.

...not really....Nintendo argues, that the main reason for using flashcards is for "illegal" reasons and it doesn't matter that you can do other things, too. And you (seller) have to find a court that follows your arguments....instead of Nintendo's arguments....

Very cost intensive experience with nearly no chance to win....

for example....

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
