You could use the spider exploit to do that, I believe.
It's an idea that popped into my head, but I haven't researched it yet.

Browser probably does not have SD card access. Even if you modify the process so it can, it's not currently coded to download files. Unless you have the source code you'd be hard-pressed to make this work.

Cached images/page history/cookies and what-not are stored in a save data file on NAND by the way. (either in the data/ID0/sysdata, or data/ID0/extdata. Refer to 3DBrew for the correct location)

So no that kind of thing wasn't being stored on SD card. You'd have to dump and decrypt FAT16 partition from NAND to get at that save file by the way.

What about saving images on the browser? Does that have anything to do with it? I know you can download images to your SD card, but I dunno what you could do with that if anything.

Hhmmm. If it wasn't possible to patch Spider, I guess an alternative would be to make another browser... I'd hate to think how hard that would be...

A simple browser probably wouldn't be all that terribly difficult, a full feature complete browser, however.....there's a good reason that you don't really have a ton of (reasonably complete and up to date) browser choices on even a pc.
