I don't want credit. I just want to be able to use Pasta. If I am successful, I don't expect for it to become the general way for people to launch Pasta through the browser. nop90 did say he was going to work on it, so I'm just fiddling in the meantime.

The spider port for 4.x is compiled and ready to be tested, but my 4.x 3DS has an unsupported version of the browser. I'll try to update in the weekend, and I hope not to brick it because it's my son's 3DS.

Then i'll work on my personal 3DS that is on 8.1.0.10.

I found that my 8.0 3DS has 4.5 browser (probably that's why it doesn't work with CN ninjhax, maybe selecting 8.1.0.7 it will work, I have to try this too, so i'll be able to play with it's FW a little)

PS: obviuously i'm not using Brahma, because it needs the HB service installedb by ninjhax.

Cool, I like that decision, as of right now KARL has 216 pages and Pasta has 217, Illuminati confirmed?!

Okay, sweet! Would I be able to change the offsets needed in the spider version with those that are used for 8.1 in Pasta's original source? Also, if you're not using Brahma, I'm going to assume you're re-writting everything yourself. If so, good luck, brother.

Nooo! Version -10 (title v2050)and under are very bad for ninjhax support. Upgrade your browser to version 3075 or 3088 (they're the same cxi). Those are both good browser versions that will work with all higher-than-4.x firmwares on Ninjhax.

I have no entry point. If I can't make it work, I'll have to downgrade with GW code.

So strange things happen with ticket.db i tried to install a cia game but it failed because the cia was corrupt but a bit after i goes to eshop and it though i bought it previously so i have downloaded it from eshop and now i can lauch it outside pasta
So if we could create an homebrew that manipulate the tickets we could directly download from eshop for free

Q there is a ticket.db in the sd card so is this one which cause it or the one in the nand so why creating two ticket if there is one in nand?

Valid tickets are generated by Nintendo servers. Unless you get the common/private key (not entirely sure which generates them) from their servers some how, that will never work. The CIA you tried to install was likely a "legit" cia. That is it was one of a select few games that come "bundled" with a system and that CIA was made from a dump of that game. Those tickets are special since they are able to work on all 3DS consoles for the region that CIA was originally intended for.

However this is not the case for the vast majority of game's so just give up on that idea

Since I semi-bricked my 3DS and had to update to 9.7 firmware, I bought a 3DS on Craigslist that is on 2.2. Can I move my old 9.7 3DS's saved games to my new 2.2 3DS?

The only way to clean your tickets would be to delete your NNID, format your 3ds, and create a new NNID to start fresh. This will delete your "ownership" (I use that term loosely when discussing digital purchases) over any games legally purchased from the eshop, and you lose any remaining funds in your account.

Actually you can just use rxTools to dump your ticket.db file before you install anything. Then if you want to buy a game you had originally installed a non legit ticket for, you can re-inject it to get back to a clean slate without wiping NNID and what not. Just use SaveDataFiler to backup any saves before you do this of coarse and reinstall CIAs and eShop downloads. ;)

I personally don't have a need to do this. But did back mine up incase I decide to buy some DSiWare for PastaCFW.

I was curious about doing that method or just deleting the ticket.db and replace it with a blank file, but won't the ticket.db just be updated after you sign into the ehop with your nnid? I assume it would since your "purchases" are connected to your nnid meaning anything installed with a non-legit cia would still so up as being previously purchased.

I didn't even bother commenting on the other posts that are off topic, people keep on needing to be reminded this is a Pasta only thread, what is wrong with you people that you don't understand such a basic concept, create a new thread if you have to but if it's not pasta related as in installation or troubleshooting don't post it here, in fact even if it is installation or toubleshooting rather post it here Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

Don't replace it with a blank file. You will most likely brick your console doing that. I think it has to be valid and I'm pretty sure deleting it will result in you having a rather bad day. :P
Of course, I wouldn't do it on sysnand. I would only try it on emunand in gateway mode. I hope nobody tries it on sysnand as that would be silly without a nand backup and hardmod to restore.

Have you tried replacing the ticket.db with a backup before on your 3ds with the same nnid then gone onto the eshop and had the invalid "purchases" erased? I will have to backup my own ticket.db on my new N3ds for when I eventually move to using Pastacfw if your method works as I would like to have valid "purchases" for the updates and free games.

coolfuze, that link points back to the post about the troubleshooting thread on this thread. Why not post the link to the actual thread as to not confuse people?
