since no one can offer me a private header, I guess ill have to buy a game and do it my self but thanks for all the help though.

Are perma bans a thing? Someone mentioned being perma banned, not sure if this is really true. It's always been temporary, right?

It can be from any game, doesn't have to be online. And you either need a powersave tool or a gateway card (and a 9.2 or below 3DS) to extract the header. If you don't have those then don't worry, shoot me a PM because I've helped a bunch of people in the same situation.

I've just purchased a SKY3DS for my N3DS XL, I'm new to all of this, I'm wondering if you still sell headers?
And a few more questions:
Where do you recommend getting ROMS from?
Will a header from a game from the US work on an N3DS in Europe?

I used to own gate way and an XL but sold it, I was going to buy the new 3ds XL as on amazon.co.uk there's a really good deal, it only costs £139, so was going to buy one, but if you use sky 3ds online.... are the bans still happening? or is there away to stop bans, using private headers?

No more ban reports so it seems like they stopped.
I guess they're flagging consoles for investigation or to ban later on.

If he was using Gateway and emuNAND, I'd agree. But Pasta CFW writes to sysNAND and I'd be much too worried.

You can use one header from one legit game and use it on all of your other games safely.

wtf are you saying... pasta cfw only writes into RAM, and then FBI install CIA into SD, nothing is written into sysnand

At this point, there's no risk for the SysNAND, absolutly true.
But if you try to install something like DevMenu to NAND, it's dangerous (don't do it! Don't try it!)

I don't know, but they might have added a way to detect the Sky3DS by now, it wouldn't surprise me.

well,.. if it was detected where are all the recent bans? supporting this detecting claim? they have no reason to delay bans or anything, and many others are using sky3ds, no bans, who knows.

There are a number of reasons why they would delay bans. Maybe to make sure that no legit users are being flagged, maybe to get everyone at once, maybe something else. Maybe they're not planning to ban people but will instead block future games from working on flagged consoles. Nintendo don't exactly have a history of banning people.

Bans come and go, you think these gaming companies are going to put out a schedule of when they are going to do it? Questions like these just makes me laugh so damn hard.

but you have no proof that they are planning anything at all, so far nothing has happened,. if you use a private header, how can they detect anything? it would make sense to auto detect these things and auto ban right away.

yeah like how they left gate way, and sky 3ds, did it ever occurred to you people, just use shared headers...

i'd really love to find a sky3ds user, with private header, and telling us, if he is still running or not, but I have heard, private headers make you safe.

Again, bans come and go. Get used to it and don't freak out when it does happen.

Ooh? Looks like I was misinformed. I should really look into this cfw then. I assumed that running .CIA files from sysNAND was risky.

I recall another thread where someone demonstrated that the Sky3DS could be detected easily by Nintendo by using some fast, easy diagnostics.

sure, they are ways, they probably could detect it... but right now, they are not really doing anything.
