Ok so back to some serious stuff is a nand mod highly recommended to be using this even if at some point it comes out of alpha or will it be safe if someone can make an Emunand to run this?

well, it is 100% safe to launch the CFW as of now, just don't install stupid stuff in your nand, and you should be fine ^^

You can backup your NAND with Gateway launcher.
I will try to make an emuNAND out of this but will probably fail.

Hey Mr.capito27, what do you mean with "stupid stuff"?
i mean, like installing out of region system apps (EG : MSET from USA console in a EUR device) or uninstalling system apps....just don't touch anything related to NAND, and you will be file (this means you can totally install games, DLC and themes)

There's always that very minute chance a Gameboy Cia or a modified pokemon rom screws up sysnand in someway or a system title gets corrupted or deleted.
hundshamer your gonna make a whole lotta commissions soon!
how much would a nand mod on n3ds be for a GBAtemp Maniac :P

I have a 3DS 4.5 and I have some questions:

- Can I install any non-legit and legit cias, wil they work fine?
- I have a 3DS 4.5 so I can play only 4.x and firmware spoof cias?
- Can I run cias with other regions?

Sooo the MSET hack could be installed via GW?
here's a snippet of my upcoming guide:

Thanks to the Gateway team, we can now install the MSET exploit without the need of a classic DS flashcard.
  1. Turn on your 3DS
  2. Turn off the Wi-Fi by using the Wi-Fi switch on the side of the console
  3. Open up the Web browser of your 3DS
  4. Touch in the bottom right the "Menu" Button. A small menu should appear. In this menu, Click the little cog in the bottom left and then, scroll down and clear both the history and the cookies.
  5. Now, go in the Menu again and this time touch URL
  6. In the URL, enter http://go.gateway-3ds.com/
  7. An error should now appear telling you to turn on Wi-Fi. Do as it says, and once the Wi-Fi is turned on, simply reload the page
  8. Now, wait a bit. The screen should flash, and as soon as you see the black screen with the scrambled colours, Hold the L button (The left shoulder button/trigger of your 3DS)
  9. Now that we are finally in the Gateway 3DS menu, use the D-Pad and go right untill you see the option "Install NVRAM". Press A
  10. Follow the instructions untill NVRAM is installed. Once you are done and you are back in the Gateway 3DS menu selection screen (Where you can move left and right with the D-Pad), press the down button on the D-Pad and B. This should shutdown your console
There you go! Now you have MSET exploit installed, without using an NDS flashcard!
