Damn, I'll have to open up the back plate of the N3DS then. XD

Use to the emuNAND to back it up. If you don't delete the emuNAND, it will install in emuNAND and have no effect.

Well, in that case, just swap out your emunand MicroSD and put a blank MicroSD with the .cia file. It will boot Gateway Mode into sysnand, and you can install MSET exploit in sysnand :D

Exactly.

Installed succesfully, DS profile works fine :)

Too bad no e-Shop Zelda support, I would have preferred that.
Thanks for the confirmation.
Still have questions about
– System Settings 4.5 support for New 3DS!
After it's installed, I'm guessing all the N3DS specific settings like 3D+ etc are gone from the Settings?
Also yes, what about playing NDS games on sysnand on N3DS afterwards, it it fucked?
Finally can you confirm that an emunand created on 3.1.1 still works fine after the upgrade to 3.2?

Now, let's wait the N3DS users complain, as there are always complain after an update xD

Personally, I won't use the new exploit because I suppose it would conflict with the Blue Card, like it did on old 3DS, and as I have both games required from the previous exploit (Cubic Ninja and OOT).

So the question is, does that method apply to new 3ds only? If yes, I don't get it, why not old 3ds as well to get an offline method of booting to gateway mode?

Old 3DS always had that exploit, if you downgraded your system for 5.x+ systems. Support for O3DS with the new exploit is different, they would also have to support Cubic Ninja or OOT first, as you need to be able to run the gateway menu and launch gateway mode to install the 4.5 cia on the N3DS.

Having no luck with this, i installed the NVRAM on the gateway menu, then mset_eur.cia via DevMenu on gateway mode on a blank mSD with only the cia and launcher, i goto DS profile once rebooted and it just comes up with the DS profile page

Same for me

Sooo this ds profile thing... Will it allow me to play ds games using the blue GW card on my 2DS  ??

We know that, but not on 9.x systems, which is the case here

Didn't even think about it before instlalling, I don't remember what settings I had before to be honest, can you list settings that are N3DS only ?

I don't play NDS games, but I assume it will work the same way it did on old 3DS.

Don't have emuNAND installed yet, but there's no reason why it wouldn't.
