Hacking Question about PowerSaves

Hello, i have :
- New 3DS XL Pal (Eu) Firmware 9.6
- An US game
- Powersave buy in Europe

Can i dump my private header with that ?

you need region of powersave for the game.

That should work I think, the hardware is the same it's just the serial that determines what region game cards it's allowed to read.

That's what I was thinking i mean I don't mind helping him out and finding out I figure the hardware is universal the key is what loads the codes for region but I'm not sure cause I'm not and expert in this at all :/

It wouldn't hurt to try, the serials hold no personal information and people freely share them on Reddit.

Thought so but some people make such a big ass deal about serial numbers if it was something like a battle net key where it's a one use I get it but something that they don't keep track of makes no sense for people to be up tight about it.
