Hey, wait... Will DSiWare and GBA VC run on emunand with this? Legit stuff of course... I'll go try as soon as I get home.

Edit: Nope. Still black screen using rxmode. I wonder why that is...
I believe this applies to GBA_FIRM too.
It breaks because DSiWare gets installed to the TWL NAND partitions, in emuNAND. TWL_FIRM is loaded to run the game, but TWL_FIRM has not been patched for NAND redirection, just NATIVE_FIRM. So, it looks at sysNAND TWL NAND for the title, can't find it and dies.

Nothing is inherently broken about DSiWare games, it's just looking in the wrong place.

You don't extract the contents with makerom. You use ctrtool for that. Example:

Code:
ctrtool -x --exheader=exheader.bin --exefs=exefs.bin --romfs=romfs YourRom.3ds

Assuming it's decrypted, it will extract usable files. ;)

how do you remake it after you edit those files and have the romfs.bin?

This is the greatest, finally emunand and even easy rom decryption. Now I can play emulators the way they were intended to be played for the first time in history without breaking the law.

I haven't played smash online in so long either

Now only if we could combine these two together...

*RUNS*

That WOULD HAVE BEEN an enlightening bit of info, except that I do have the games on sysnand, and still get a black screen when trying to run from a linked emunand. Try again.

I don't know if it has already been tested.
I'm asking here as it's an active thread about decryption.

Are Cartridge's UniqueID used by flashcart to access online encrypted?
Someone tried to decrypt them with the internal AES engine?
I suppose the engine decrypts anything you throw to it, the result will have to be compared with multiple headers to see if there's a pattern. (gameID, etc.)

wow, you managed to do it on mset... so it will be easier for you to port this to other userland exploit as you said before... :-D
anyway, just want to volunteer as for beta tester for ur future work... heres my 3ds info:

N3DS XL- US
sysnand 9.0
OOT exploit

thanks and have a nice day...

Not sure if the save is on the cart, but if it is, then yes you can, after the next update

Yes the save is on the cart.

I played for like a 70hrs then downgraded my 3ds but i never played it again, because i read that even in the newest emunand (MTemunand), the save file will get corrupted as the game's save was originally created on a 9.2 Sysnand.

So in short does rxMode solve this issue ?

That is weird, in this case, I'm not sure of my statement.
