BTW guys, there's no need to shut down your game between dumps, injections, etc. All I do each time I run a spider tool is delete my browser cookies. No need to delete history or reset all browser settings. just delete cookies and you're good. saves a bunch of time.

You only need to shut it down if you have an E-shop version.

I would like to ask that people stop asking me how to hack your Town Card Picture. I posted it as a proof of concept, and it's really not that hard if you work in hex. I've gotten about 4 messages from 3 people so far just on that topic alone. (and honestly I'd much rather see the villager pic than custom avatars...)

Anyways, I'm going to be mostly leaving this thread now, things seem to be in an appropriate place with knowledge of changing useful things in the game.

It's possible to do this with the map editor, or we have to do it manually ?

Thanks for everything, froggestspirit.
Would you mind any modifications to your map editor and if so, is there any source code/pictures/html you could throw at us before you're finished for good? I feel that there's a way to "paint" the concrete tiles in other places that isn't separated by one acre square. For example, my fiancee's un-hacked town has the town hall and re-tail very close, but it's impossible to edit that through the editor (for now). I'm just wondering if that would be a possibility, thanks. (:

It's here: http://usuaris.tinet.cat/mark/acnl_editor/
All the directions are on the front page of this thread that marc_max made and it's pretty easy to follow. (:
Good luck! It's a lot of fun.

I'm back again. I read through what people have been talking about and its awesome to see the commitment people are making towards acnl exploiting :) Keep up the great work!

I'm not releasing the source, sorry. And no, the pavement can't be painted, it's pre-defined in the acres, so that would require rom hacking.

i updated my 3DS because I didn't know 9.5.0-23 wasn't supported. (I didn't know what I had before updating).
How do I downgrade?

If you have a NAND backup, a hard mod is required.
If you don't have a NAND backup, you have to buy a new one, as there is no exploit to downgrade if you're past 9.2

I have a question for all of the modders on this thread.

Do you think there will ever be moonjumping/noclipping in acnl? Such as GeckoOS for animal crossing city folk? Just curious, and I think it would be a cool idea but would take a lot of patience, time, and commitment.

Hello!
So I would like to thank you guys for making this happen ^^

It worked great on my 2DS :)

But I am currently working on my second town in my 3DS XL, but it is not working (i get the error messages)....
The version is correct (below 9.5.0-23), it is on a digital copy, but I have inserted another cartridge of acnl once in my 3DS xl...
Could it be the reason why it is not working??
My console is also european, but so is my 2DS and it worked perfectly.

If anyone could help ^^;
the town in my 2DS is nearly complete, but I would really love to use this tool on my new town!

It could possibly be the SD card. I couldn't get anything to work on any of my 3DS's. I tried using a different SD card and it worked straight away.
