hi,

I have a taiwan 3ds that ideally i'd like to make EUR. I have practically no tech skills (using gateway and installing cia files that other people have made is about my limit). At the moment changing region is way beyond me and I would end up bricking my 3ds, do you think there will ever be an easy way to do it that even an idiot like me could follow?

cheers,

I... don't understand these steps.
At least I managed to create my jp nnid in my settings page,
But I get an error 007-2001

I got the same error at first. I did the following:
1. Prepare 3 SD cards with emuNAND:
  • Card A has EU emuNAND and a European NNID.
  • Card B has EU emuNAND and no NNID
  • Card C has JP emuNAND and a Japanese NNID
2. Insert card A and open the eShop. (Log in or create an NNID if you haven't yet)
3. Exit emuNAND and switch to card B
4. Open the eShop on card B. It will fail with an error message.
5. Switch your 3DS off
6. Insert card C and it should work fine

Are you two emunands the same?
To be precise:
My card A is my original emunand with nnid.
My card B is emunand made from reformatted sysnand (it was to unlink sysnand A from emunand A)
Both US.

Following the steps gave me an error code.

Should I reformat my emunand B to unlink it from my sysnand B?

Are both your emuNANDs the newest version? I created both emuNANDs from my 4.5 sysNAND and updated them to 9.5.

Do you have any idea of how this process could be adjusted for a SysNand region change?

If the language of the system ain't in your selection (for example if you want ENG on JPN console),
then you will need secure info from US or EU unit. (which will also change the region).

This change is made into emunand?
