Saturn would have problems due to how crazy it is to emulate

Is it really? I'll take your word for it, I'd just like to see more 3D stuff. Hopefully soon.

Well stuff like the Gamecube adapter doesn't just magically work when you plug it in, you need to add support for getting data from it and then hook it into whatever program you want to use it.

I'm aware...unless you were referring to KungFuzion.

I say that, once homebrew things start rollin, maybe we make some simple games/apps that test things out?

Yeah it is hardish to emulate due to the architecture that Sega used

This. In fact the Jaguar is a pain in the arse too! Even the 3DO, despite not touching the power of the PS1, is at least as difficult to emulate as the Sony machine.
...Not to say I wouldn't mind seeing any/all of those three systems myself of course :D, but, baby steps.....;)

I guess as a rule of thumb if it doesn't currently have an emulator on android it probably won't on Wii u

Have a linux type, enigma2 app that allows video streaming from receiver to use with satellite or canle receivers. It could also be a general media playing/ streaming type app.

Example of such an app on android/ios is dreamdroid (android) and blackbox (ios)

Another idea would be some kind of game that uses the Gamepads motion sensing to make one of those maze-ball games or something. The real things are so annoying to play with.

I'm gonna +1 this, that would actually be really cool. It could also make good use of the Gamepad, too: zoomed, movable (by touchscreen) view on the Gamepad, and real-time full view of the entire ball on the TV

Also, it might be a good idea to post all ideas in the OP so developers can more easily see them :)

Just returned from Taco Bell, I'm on it!

What I want most is a real time remote debugger/RAM hacking device (TCP Gecko dNet. Can't wait for the kernel exploit to be out so we can use it). Will there anything else (Wii U side) be needed besides the kernel exploit to connect TCP Gecko to the Console??
A region locker so I can play imported games to create cheat codes for them.
And a spoofer to avoid updates and still go online

Nope, just need to be able to break out of the sandbox with a kernel exploit. We might also create a more robust exception handler for debugging crashes (it's proven very useful so far).
