you might be satisfied with just a sky3ds, it's really up to you.
Gateway has extra features and is a superior card

So no one has gotten it working on a retail Japanese Zelda cart? Wondering if I should shell out for Sky3ds or a retail cart but from what I've seen in this thread, no one has gotten it working with Sky3ds yet for Japanese N3ds 8.1.

eShop does work on Sky... You just have to be on the latest fw

Merge if you use your Sky for other games, use his only if your Sky's sole purpose is to get into Gateway menu

I got an original copy of OOT and I'd like to dump it and extract private cart id to inject into sky3ds headers... but I'm on 9.5... :/

What are you using to create a save for the EU roms? I looked at the othet thread with the list of working and non working original OOT cards. Realized that some weren't listed there. For exmaple the one I have is: AQEP510191, which was a preorder card too. Do you want data from this for a sample, or is it not required?
