Hacking [HOWTO] Use OOT Exploit on SKY3DS/Non Working Carts

[Datalogger]

I have a N3DSXL on 9.0.0-20U
SKY3DS Blue Button
A clean copy of OoT (CTR-P-AQEE) with good AdvancScene checksums (6D2CBD87)

Using Diskwriter 1.6, and the Template211.txt provided above
Format the SD Card in Diskwriter
Write OoT to the SD card, then right click and copy the US SKY OOT-AQEE.sav
Put the SD back into the SKY, Sky into my 3DS.
OoT boots up fine and says Press Start.

There is nothing but “New Game” listed in all three spaces…

I even tried re-saving the save file after I write it to the SD card and verifying it with the original with a binary file compare (Beyond Compare)
They are exactly the same.

Tried formatting the SD several times....

What am I missing??

It seems useful for those with legit carts that don't work and those that have both a Sky3DS and a Gateway.

I am one of said people Japanese new3ds 8.1 the save data I used does not work I have the scene release of bahamut OoT

Great job! I already have a Gateway and I don't have a Sky. I can pick up OoT for 29,99 today. Should I do that or would it be better if I bought Sky (it's way more expensive)?

One question though, do we have to obtain a Rev01 dump specifically, or any dump for the matter?
If possible, could anyone PM me where I could find a Rev01 JPN copy of OoT?

HAve mine, but figured it won't work with DiskWriter. Been using the US-Contrast release. The one time I got it to notice the save it complained about it and said it was corrupt. Let me check the rom info

Oh, by the way, which Version of OoT are you using? 1.0 or 1.1? Dont know if all Regions have them but noticed the Versions a while ago when GW Released the Update

Download the latest template and US file. I updated them ~30 seconds ago.

i didnt know that my rom is rev01 , i wasted tons of times on porting save file from gw to sky3ds

Just updated template and save for EU. Try it now. I'm not sure if the save is for rev00 or rev01, so try it with both.
