Hacking New Update to Sky3ds Template 10th Mar'15

So the Sky3ds team are at it again and have updated their latest template files. Notable changes to me i see is the support for the Super Smash Bros with firmware 9.2 rom. Go get it while it's hot!

Change logs:
1.Fixed some bugs.
2.Added games:"1194 - Flap Flap EU, 1195 - Sekaiju to Fushigi no Dungeon JPN, 1196 - LEGO City Undercover - The Chase Begins JPN, 1198 - Cooking Mama - Bon Appetit EU, 1199 - Gardening Mama - Forest Friends EU, 1201 - Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS US"

I think Sky3ds updates their templates based on scene releases. Isn't the aussie version suppose to be same as the europe one?

Yes and no. Some games are -EUR but Nintendo's games are -AUS. I've tested dumped Super Smash Bros from my retails card (-AUS) the SHA-1 checksum is different compare to the one in the template (-EUR). Therefore, Sky3DS won't let me write to memory card. I've tried to create a new template for my dump but I won't recognize the game.

Oh nice, but I assume everyone now makes there own templates so for sky3ds to even keep updating this is useless.

as far as i know , aus and eu consoles have the same firmwares
so why you dont download the eu version?

Basically, they're different. As I said above, SHA-1 checksum is different between the two versions. Sky3DS did update for Pokemon XY/ORAS for both EU and AU versions but Super Smash Bros.

People can't make their own template file, they can only edit what sky give them, part of the template file is still unknown/hidden, so all sky3ds users have to rely on sky3ds to release an update whenever a new game is released.....if sky3ds don't release.....well people don't play any new games on sky3ds

AUS 3DS can run EUR but I'd like to play my own copy one. Who knows that Nintendo will ban all "fake-not matched" private headers someday.

People can't make their own template file, they can only edit what sky give them, part of the template file is still unknown/hidden, so all sky3ds users have to rely on sky3ds to release an update whenever a new game is released.....if sky3ds don't release.....well people don't play any new games on sky3ds

Anyway, Sky3ds does "ROM dedications" it seems. You can find the instructions on their FAQ page. Maybe you could send your information to them and they might update it in their next template update.

I've already sent them but they won't do for personal dump. Idk why did they say to use SkyTempIdEdit?

I guess this SkyTempIDEdit is just for you to put in your cart's header into that template file. They still want you to flash the EU rom then.

i think they probably just meant , inject your own header into the standard EU release......and they also probably mean that they cant create a template unless the specific rom has been released publicly

Not exactly. The new SSB haven't had a dump yet (scene dump) and many other games. SkyTempIdEdit edit all headers in the template file using a private header/ chip id.

This "Fixed some Bugs" is a big Lie.
I compared the last and this File with KDIFF and there was no Change to the Old Templates. Only New Templates are added.

It seems Sky3ds updates their templates base on this site. The Flap flap game was released by the Abstrakt group in Early March.
