everything works fine for me up to the point of updating emuNAND, after which emunand just doesn't boot , does that mean a bad update or bad SD ?

EDIT: well , seems only the GW loader doesn't work , is it an intentional thing? like it requiring a card? because MT loader works fine and boots emuNAND 9.5.0.23 :S

go to that link ^, but it will only work with the browser exploit, the MT launcher doesnt work for 9.5

oh i misread, not really any way to update emunand offline unless you have a gateway/MT card to update via rom/cia....well its probably possible, but too complicated for me to try explain

what is happening is I go to connect and the internet notification freaks out and goes from internet full bars to enabled to internet with no bars then randomly everything else till I cant connect to update either emunand for mt card or gateway. im on 4.5 following no gateway cfw+emunand tutorial here

Definitely. I am in the process of testing rxTools/Mode on my 3DS. Once I confirm it works, I'll likely make a new guide. I don't want to use the same guide and completely swap the method.

So it looks like rxTools does not support mset booting, so you will have to navigate to the browser everytime. I'm going to hold off until mset support is released, which looks like it has high priority right now in the rxTools thread. The whole point of having two SDs and downgrading to 4.5 is so you can easily swap between CFW/emuNAND quickly without having to navigate to a site. Once mset support is released, I will definitely make a guide.

in some ways havig it set to web exploit and MSET for each different mode is better as you dont need a NDS flashcard to switch between them, browser for latest emunand, MSET for cfw....there was no option for you guys to use the web exploit for booting any of the previous methods

I just got my CFW up and running after two days of messing around with it. I have to say this is really cool being completely free but it's so hard to go into CFW that it almost out weights the whole hack. I'm playing Blargsnes right now with CFW

Hmm... interesting. Never seen this before. Is anyone else reporting this bug? It might be an issue with your home internet, but if it worked before then I can't see why it wouldn't work now.

Yup, this is one of the key issues with CFW. There's development going on in another thread working on making CFW more stable and I will update download links once they've got something working and tested.

It was my work WiFi now my home WiFi works but I have a black screen after updating my emunand. Oh well I'll just give up till mset gets ported

How do I backup my sysnand? I just bought a N3DSXL with 9.0.0.20U on it and would like to make a backup of the nand before I do the emuNAND stuff. Is this possible? I've looked around for threads but haven't found a concrete answer unless I suck at looking for the correct thread.

You need a power saves USB dongle or a old 3ds with 9.2 to install a save to a copy of oot apparently some copies don't work but mine did. Check gateways site and read every thread just to make sure you don't do anything wrong.
