Hi,
Yesterday i updated my regular 3DS by accident,
This evening i'm going to hardware mod it to restore a Nand backup that i got.

I've backuped/restored my Emunand a few times using the dd command in mac.
Can i also use it (the same way) to write to the Nand?

You should be able to just fine. Win32DiskImage is just for Windows while dd is a unix command that can read and write entire drives, and then some.

i.e.
Reading
# dd if=/dev/hdx of=/path/to/image
Writing
#dd if=/path/to/image of=/dev/hdx
