This thread was mainly created in response to the derailment adventures of the thread Wii U Hacking Discussion, but don't worry, anyone's welcome to join in All that I ask is that if any thread in the Wii U - Hacking & Homebrew subforum gets derailed in favor of "debating the ethics of piracy", you kindly link them here and get on with your life. Please, do not feed the fire.

I think that if someone release a backup loader or a cfw a lot of people wil buy a lot of wiiu, is sad that there are no many games to pirate, the only ones are Super smash bros, mario kart 8, new super mario, injustice and zelda.

What about Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Wonderful 101 and Super Mario 3D World? There are plenty of good games, it's just that they're forgettable (mostly due to lack of advertising)

I've heard some mixed feelings about that game. The main one being that it should have been an iPhone game All the same though, despite its length (or lack thereof) it still looks like a very solid, Nintendo quality game

Yeah i forgot Super mario world, im not really interested in the other two, i think its a shame that wiiu doesnt get new and better games like: GTA V, fifa 15, Dragon ball xenoverse, street fighter, motal kombat,naruto and other games because a lot of people like me is interested in getting some of this games for wiiu. i alredy have an Xbox and a good computer to run this games so this is no really a big problem for me but it would be cool to play those games (at least for me) with the wiiu gamepad because i think it is awesome

There is a petition online somewhere to port GTAV on WiiU

There also is another one for porting Sm4sh on PSVita

People who download backups/illegal files should be called something else than 'pirates' because it's not really the same as when the actual pirates who'd sail the seas with their ships and conquer the goods of others.

Someone needs to come up with a catchy term and make it popular.

Also, piracy as a concept is what we are doing-stealing from the rich and enjoying the prizes ourselves.

ALSO, I don't get why everyone's saying there's only a few games that are "worth it". That's not true for everyone; someone might really really want to play Assassin's Creed on Wii U, or something like that. You don't know.

Is the Wii U powerful enough for GTA V? I mean, I know the model is generally "if the 360 could manage it, the U can too", but GTA V is pretty intensive on both space and resources
