Hacking Error Code 002-0102, Have I been banned?

Just got error code 002-0102. I own 3ds xl with mario kart 7 pre-installed and MT-Card with emuNAND 9.4 installed. Just play pokemon y.3dz with header from sky3ds and test to go online yesterday and everything went fine until today when I want to play mario kart 7 online on sysNAND 4.2 I got that error code also when I enter friend list got that error code also. I'm guess nintendo already banned my console.

Does nintendo banned the system by your friend code or your MAC address or something else?

How are you playing online with sysnand 4.2? I thought they required an update.

mario kart 7 that pre-installed is with the latest version. No need to update anymore.

They use your console id. It is unique per console and sent to Nintendo's servers every time you establish a connection.

I'd have to say that all sky3ds users are using it, only a handful would probably be using a private header, only a couple would rip a private header and still share it with friends.

when i got the console its on 6.3 and then I downgrade it to 4.2 to install emuNAND with MT-CARD. But I can still play the mario kart 7 on my sysNAND 4.2.

I'm betting Ninty is going on all the 3DS ISO sites and such, downloading any public headers, loading it on their database and log everyone who uses that header.

No, only the game has to be updated to the latest version--which for some games, means yes sysNAND has to be updated (just to access eShop).

I still think we should add "Are you using out of region/region free games?" to that form. The fact that less than 20 tempers have gotten banned might very well mean it's something small like this.

Thats why his post is confusing, either he's playing it on his emunand or he's playing it on sysnand.
