I am expecting this to arrive on Feb 5th. In anticipation, I'm trying to figure out how to use the controller on my PC. I have no interest in emulating games on Dolphin as I already own the games I want to emulate on Dolphin on Steam or PC (non-Steam) (also, Dolphin lags on my laptop). Those games are the Sonic games (all of the 3D ones on PC).

How can I use this adapter to replace my PS3 controller? I use MotionInJoy for my PS3 controller, treating it as an Xbox 360 controller. Which program lets me treat my Gamecube controllers as Xbox 360 controllers?

With the old mayflash adapter (the one with 2 controller ports) there is a problem with the triggers since they are inverted, but you can fix that with some settings. I haven't had a chance to try the new adapter but it should work exactly like the old one.

I use "PC" mode on mine for all emulators except Dolphin. for Dolphin, I use "Wii U" mode along with Dolphin's built-in support for the official Gamecube adapter.
for games that support 360 controller only, I use X360ce and it seems to work fine.

So what you're saying is that for games that don't exclusively require the 360 controller, you don't need to use any external programs?
So like you just switch it to PC mode, plug in a controller and play?
