With this exploit, what's the worst a malicious website owner could do without having to rely on a specific file (like Launcher.dat) on the SD card? Could someone potentially create a site that, upon being loaded in a 9.2- 3DS, would brick said 3DS? Or steal eShop credentials or camera pictures? Notice I'm not asking how; I wouldn't have any desire to do that. I'm just wondering how harmful this exploit could be to a user who isn't intentionally trying to use it.

Also iv only tested it on 4.5 fw and its working.
Great! I have 9.2, so thats 2 FWs clear!

Well, the worst one could do... I'm honestly not sure. I wouldn't think much, because most of the data is in the sd card.

They can load a ROP chain to run inside the browser. That's it.

This is pretty cool, I got it working on 9.2 on my 3DS XL, does anyone know how to exit out of the homebrew though? I can't seem to figure that one out. It seems to shut off by itself when I hold the power button, but it could just be triggered by time I don't press any buttons it registers(it only registers the D-PAD) I am excited to see how this will pan out for the 3DS Homebrew Community :D

The only way i can get it to turn off is to hold the power button.

This doesn't work on 9.4, does it? I tried it on my regular n3ds on fw 9.4 and the console hangs showing some crazy colors on the bottom screen.

Yeah. The way that Gateway/this exploit gains kernel access has been patched, so no homebrew on that for now. Maybe at another time though! :D

Sorry but now we can use the phantomic execute.bin of matheuil ... i cant understand why not cfw via web broswer....

shutterbug2000 Is it possible to unlink the code from Launcher.dat filename? I've tweaked HTML exploit part to use custom launcher filename, regionthree can be successfully renamed, but te3ds not, just hangs after bottom screen white fill.
