if i go to 4.5 , can i get back to 9.2 ?
i already made a back up for my sysNand 9.2
i didn't do any hard wiring

I wish they released 4.1 or something for all of us, it would mean parental controls on updates + a lot of flashcarts unblocked, that + cearp's whitelist would make everything that isn't 1st gen slot-1 work. Maybe we can figure out how they're packing them and pack our own.

What firmware versions does this let me downgrade to? Or does it just downgrade to 4.5 currently? That's not really an option for me. Does it result in a factory reset sysnand? (aka, will unlink emunand as a result). If that's the case, I could "downgrade" to 4.5, then "upgrade" back to whatever firmware my Pokemon Alpha Sapphire game requires. I can't stay on 4.5 because I started my Pokemon games on 8.0/9.0 firmware so they use the newer save encryption.

Also note they STILL haven't added the newer save encryption even though the new exploit runs natively in the new firmware. This makes no ***king sense. :(

I want to backup my Pokemon games and play them on Gateway, but due to the save game issue I can't play without starting a new game in Gateway mode.

However the new save encryption does work in classic mode. But...I can't run SaveDataFiler in classic mode. :(

Also can someone test if you can upgrade back to a newer firmware using a game cartridge after using the downgrade feature? I want to make sure I can do that before I attempt this.

GATEWAY ULTRA 3.0.1 PUBLIC BETA AND DGPACKS

Posted on January 10, 2015
We would like to say thanks to our users for testing the public beta and reporting bugs.
We are still working through the feedback but so far we have already fixed the SPI Test bug in Diagnostics menu,
and released it as Gateway ULTRA 3.0.1, available in the Downloads section.

The downgrade packs have now also been added to the Downloads section, please download the proper dgpack for your region if you want to downgrade.
We want to caution users using the downgrade feature: it is a dangerous operation as it will write to sysnand and if something goes wrong it may brick your 3DS.
We currently recommend that ONLY USERS WITH A NAND MOD try this, and report back any issues.

If you want to restore your NAND.BIN from SD Card to sysnand, simply hold UP when entering the Downgrade menu will launch the restore menu.
This can be used to go back to your original NAND, such as before downgrading.

As always ENJOY!
I have a quick question, Does this fix the bug which happens when you go on "Classic mode" the Gateway, Then it gives you a black screen. Did they fix that? Cause u need to check when I get home. But I had an issue with that at 3.0, as well as my friends hopefully it fixed.

I'm just done reading up on all the cia install and devmenu (BigBlueMenu)
I managed to install cia's etc...

So basicly i figured out everything i wanted to figure out till now (not online play with 3dz)
and now the downgarde is there :D, first i'm gonna read up on dumping my own gamecarts for the headers so i can inject those for 3dz stuff :)

I see there are no reports of downgraded 2DS yet. Guess people are too afraid to try downgrading them. So I'll repeat myself: Just try downgrading your emunand. If it still works, that means that a 2DS should be capable of running a downgraded sysnand as well.

If i had a 2DS to sacrifice I'd try it. :)

But sadly i don't have one to sacrifice to the downgrade gods. :(

Is it possible to downgrade emunand?
