Hey guys, just asking, but for those on us not on fw 4.1-4.5, do we have to connect to the internet and go to the browser every time we want to go into gateway mode??

From what I can see, yes. I went into Gateway mode, went to settings, came out, and I now have to re-run the exploit.

It would be cool if we could flash our emuNAND to sysNAND.

The release announcement says you can flash any NAND dump back to sysnand - which is pretty good - at least it covers versions up to 9.2

I´m so disappointed, I have a fucking n3ds, I just hope I can use gatewait before February, thats my limit, if not I'm going to let this ship sail. Congrats to the people that can use the update at least someone can play.

it returns to your 3DS menu, just put in your red cart
restart browser, go to settings clear cache and history and go to the site

I bet the site will get overloaded soon

i dont have a gateway yet, sadly. I have to wait for a while T_T

We'll see when they release their downgrade packages on their site don't jump to conclusions yet. Anyways I'm more surprised at what they tried to release, a mother f***** downgrade feature, restoring nand without the need to wire it, and future features yet to be known although the site to boot gateway is risky as some of us may download updates I fear.

I got a question: Everything works when I visit the website, currently backing up NAND, but I can't boot into Gateway mode? It already did the card update but when I then press "boot Gateway mode" the screen just stays black and nothing happens... or do I need to wait even longer?

Maybe you should consider actually reading what they posted: It may be needed for some users to clear cookies and history in the Browser Application for proper activation.

It did the same on my blue card, installed the exploit using my supercard dstwo, works fine !

What can be done with this exploit without owning a official Gateway 3DS Cartridge? I always wondered.

Yes, that is an interesting question. I wonder if the delay was partly due to an attempt to obfuscate the code beyond the best hackers. (As well as to fool new 3ds owners into buying a Gateway over christmas)
