This is cool. I'm going to downgrade my console and install CIA CFW until I can buy a GateWay next month~~

Be interesting to see if a stock new 3ds on 8.1 will behave with the downgrade. Similar to the ps3 when downgrading a console that shipped with 3.60 that were not possible and with the psp go too.

I hope that surprise feature is 3DS save decrypting, cheats or game linking via SD (for games like Inazuma Eleven or Pokémon)

You can downgrade without needing the gateway card it seems. Means anyone can go ahead and install CIA CFW if it's true. Gotta wait for them to add the downgrade packs to confirm.

So is for "For users on firmware 4.5 or above" a mistake and they mean anything over 4.5?, so 5.x and above.

Seems a bit weird for 4.5 users to have to stop using the profile exploit to go to an internet based one.
