Hacking New 3DS (LL) Out of Box Firmware Database

The faceplate is the original Nintendo logo in Japanese dated back to 19th century, and the backplate is the current Nintendo logo in English.
A set of pure white faceplate / backplate and a set of Super Smash Bros faceplate / backplate is also included in the Ambassador Edition.
People are going crazy saying that when the New 3DS hits Europe and North America it'll be firmware 9.4 or higher. I'm pretty sure Nintendo has been working on manufacturing New 3DS for Europe and North America since the release of the New 3DS in Japan and Australia. My guess is early batches will have firmware 9.0 to 9.3 and then it'll change after that (first 500 thousand to 1 million units probably).
Has anyone that ordered from nippon over the holiday break had their order shipped yet?
I ordered on the 28th without realizing they were on break.
I knew it'd take until the 5th for them to ship, but now it's the 8th and it's still at Preparation in progress.
It's really starting to agravate me especiall since I ordered just two hours after they went on break(they claim they're shipping the orders from the break on a first come first serve basis so I should have been near the front of the line) and chose the highest price shipping option because they claimed it would arrive in 2-3 days.
They were just fine with taking the money out of my account as soon as I ordered and changed the status to preparation in progress as soon as they opened for business monday so I didn't even have time to cancel the order and buy from somewhere else (you can't cancel once it moves to preparation in progress).
EDIT: just spoke with customer service, they said it most likely won't ship until next week. Never buying anything from them again.

I ordered my Japanese LL from Amazon the other day and it came with 8.1. It was already here in the US, so it had to be at least 1-2 months old.
Serial is QJF10338XXXX. Got it from T-Brezza Japan. No complaints here so far.

Hey guys, I'm an exchange student in Japan at the moment. I'm looking to buy a New 3DS LL but want it to work with gateway so it can be region free when I take it back to Australia.
Where is the best place to buy it from to try and make sure it's 9.2 or below? (The cheapest place for me is Amazon Prime I think)

Could I have another digit from your serial? It is extremely close to the serial where Nintendo swapped to 9.1.0, and I can better narrow the range with another digit.
