I just bought the sky3ds blue button and got it yesterday. I bought a 32gb microsd for it and when I used the diskwriter 1.05 I had no issue with the first 6 games. My 3ds is a usa region and all the games are aswell.

The issue occurs when I try playing the 7th game. When I click on it. it tell me "game card cannot be read" I've formatted the sd and placed the 7th game as the 1st and had no issues. When I place the card in and it start up with the 7th game the blue light will keep on blinking nonstop.

I just download the newest template that came out on 1/5/15 template 105 and I've also tried the template 102. I've seen other people have issues similar to this but they've never mentioned the order of the games and what slot it was on when they had the issue.

BTW. none of the games are trimmed or messed with.

That's odd. Can you get past the 7th slot? e.g run a game from the 8th slot fine.

the sky3ds doesn't recognize that there's a 8th game on the sd. When I'm on the 7th and there's a 8th. if i click the blue button it will still start to blink rapidly and keep me from moving ont he the 1st game on the sd. I contacted sky3ds and they wrote back telling me it might be the sd card and maybe the games might be tampered with. So I just ordered a new microsd and I'm waiting whats the issue.

BTW. my 32gb sd card is a class 10. I really dont know if that matters.

That sounds like an issue with the microSD. The Sky3DS is trying to read the next sector but it is corrupted would be my guess. You could try loading smaller or larger games onto the microSD and checking if the # of the game that doesn't work changes from seven. With larger games loaded onto the microSD, you should encounter the error before the seventh slot and with smaller games you should be able to move farther.

This is most likely the cause of the problem as it happens on PCs too. eg. certain levels of a game may fail to load indicating a defective HDD.

Sounds like fake micro SD card.
Basically fake cards have fake capacity.
It will show as the file being in the card but actually its not there.

I've tried this with 8 smaller games and got a similar situation except I was able to switch after the 7th game but it wou;d only work half the time. the other half would be the blinking light. As for the microsd. I guess it fake but I bought at cvs since they had them cheap. I just ordered a sandisk 16gb since I've read several good things about them on these forums.
