My New 3DS XL is just gathering dust right now. I've resorted to using my Vita and playing through SteamDig World, again.

Safest option would be to get Aus or Jap. Nobody knows what the NA or UK will get.

i got an austraian one from 365games, who are UK based, but i think someone said they are out of stock now........i would say the chances of the UK launch models having 9.2 or lower would be slim......slightly possible, but i wouldnt place any bets on it

I got mine from 365Games. Next day delivery and comes with 9.0.... Looks like they are out of stock of New 3DS and XL at the moment though.

Reason why the update hasn't been released is because Gateway are working a CDi modchip and have dropped all support for the 3DS as their clock in the office had stopped working.

On a serious note, Gateway do need to make a status report soon.
