Without trying to sound like an arse, what you're saying is totally selfish (and understandable obviously) as you want the update out you want to play the games etc. So I can get that, but to suggest what their business plan should be etc Is really a bit silly, I'm sure they know what they're doing, heck they probably have a business manager (maybe not a legit one) but I'm sure they know exactly where they are and where they want to be and if it was in their best interest to release it now they would, just need to be a little more patient

Weren't there posts saying it would support 5.0-9.4? Or is that badly translated? I kinda briefly skimmed the Supercard thread.

I based that on the childish post that was sent to resellers.

Yes a new image was produced and shows that it should be compatible with newer firmware.

edit: Not to mention they said they will have emunand.

1) I already own a 4.5 3DS
2) I don't want to play games with it but romhacking
3) I need the 9.2 update if anything only to confirm that the hack will work on 9.2 as well as on 4.5
4) Even if I didn't have a Gateway and 4.5 3DS, I actually buy all the games I like, so either way you are wrong.
5) Your argument has no foundation whatsoever and is based only on your presumption that the Gateway team knows what they are doing. Mine is based on marketing and psychology.

Yeah.......im almost getting to that point! There is only so much excitement to be had with that stupid face shooting game.

Now that we've seen what kind of exploit this is using and Gateway is kinda just piggybacking off of Smea's exploit, they don't really seem like innovators anymore, but I guess most things in the hacking scene work like this anyway, people take one thing and further develop it or change it.
